Bukit
Kelam is a famous tourist spot in Sintang district, West Kalimantan. located in
the district kelam permai, 25 kilometers away from the city Sintang, bukit
kelam offers many interesting places to visit, can include waterfalls, rare
orchids, hiking trail, and other natural charm which would attract the
attention of many tourists. for local people, bukit kelam is identical with the
Bujang Beji legends and Tomonggong Marubai. it is said, bukit kelam also the
largest stone in the world, beat Uluru or Ayers Rock in Australia.

Legends.
By the surrounding community, the existence of Bukit Kelam
associated with legends Tumenggung Marubai and Bujang Beji. Bujang Beji and
Tumenggung Marubai is the head group of the fishermen in the State Sintang
(Sintang capitals now). Beji Bujang with his group mastered Kapuas River,
whereas Tumenggung Marubai and the group mastered Melawi River.
Because of differences in fish catches, appear malicious intent
